Our Annual Conference 2021 goes online this year

On Saturday 6th March starting 9.15am

A fantastic opportunity not to be missed by families, breastfeeding advocates and health professionals.

This year’s breastfeeding and parenting Conference will be a Webinar. There will be a full day of talks as listed on the programme below.

Speakers will include:

James McKenna, B.A., M.A., PhD.

Dr James McKenna is a leading authority on mother-infant co-sleeping in relation to breastfeeding and SIDS.  He is a professor of anthropology and the director of the Mother-Baby Behavioural Sleep Laboratory at the University of Notre Dame, has published three books and over 139 referenced scientific articles in diverse medical and anthropological journals on co-sleeping, breastfeeding, evolutionary medicine and SIDS.

Amy Brown, PhD, Professor.

Prof. Amy Brown, Psychologist, is a Professor of Child Public Health at Swansea University who specialises in maternal and child health, particularly nutrition. She campaigns to bring about better support for women who want to breastfeed and to improve the UK public’s attitude towards breastfeeding in public.
